This tiny, delicate sea slug looks like it's always puckering up for a kiss! Found clinging to hydroids in Singapore's local reefs.
Nudibranchs are shell-less sea slugs — and some of the most colourful creatures in the entire ocean!
Pikachu Nudibranch
Bright yellow with orange-tipped cerata that look just like Pikachu's ears! A favourite among Singapore's scuba divers.
Its scientific name is Thecacera pacifica — but everyone calls it the Pikachu nudibranch!
Silver Moonies
Shimmering like a full moon on the water, Silver Moonies travel in spectacular silver schools in Singapore's coastal waters.
Moonies get their name from their perfectly round, moon-like body shape and brilliantly reflective scales!

Samantha Leo is a passionate scuba diver who has spent years exploring Singapore's hidden underwater world. Through her dives, she discovered something remarkable — our local seas are teeming with extraordinary creatures that most Singaporeans never get to see.
Frustrated that so few people knew about the incredible critters living right beneath our waves, Samantha decided to share these wonders through a children's book — starting a conversation with the next generation about Singapore's remarkable ocean life.
